Contribute – Write for Us?
Enjoy writing as a hobby and would like your work on current affairs, music, movies, recipes, food, interviews, reviews etc. to be read by over 2000 people every month?
If you do then I might have just what you are looking for. I started Nearly Illicit Magazine as an online magazine that helps writers get heard.
The reason we accept pro-bono work or hobby writers is simply that the magazine was started as a hobby of my own and once it reaches it’s potential and begins bringing in revenue I will be more than happy to give frequent contributors first choice while I am hiring. These jobs would require the same type of input from all writers. Journalists are also welcome to share their work that might not have been published by their current employers as this would not be against any contract because for the time being it is not paid for.
